Using Datagraph-med in a LAN Network

Previous pageReturn to chapter overviewNext page

You can use Datagraph-med© in a local area (LAN) network  and enter or analyze data simultaneously on different computers.

Datagraph-med© should be installed locally on each workstation for best performance. Only the data file itself (as indicated on the main screen) should be stored on the network server. Each user must select this file as active data file. Data can be entered simultaneously on up to 10 PC.

Care has to be taken, that updates of Datagraph-med are installed on all used PC at the same time, as changes in the data file format may cause incompatibility with former versions of Datagraph-med.

Note: Users must have full read/write permissions to all folders where Datagraph-med© is installed and to the folder which hosts the data file. You should also the 'AddPath20xx.exe' from each data file folder in order to avoid Microsoft macro Security warning messages when starting Datagraph-med.
